BECOME A SHAKTI VIP GUEST

Approximately every 8 weeks, Shakti makes private, special offers available to our “Shakti VIP Guests”. These special offers and advanced notices of new services or sales are reserved for our very best guests. Shakti VIP Guests are also offered Express Check-out and Preferred Scheduling. To become a Shakti VIP Member simply make sure we have your most current email address and a credit card on file. (Don’t worry, our credit card encryption system does not allow anyone to see or access card numbers, private information, expiration dates or pin numbers.)

 

SCHEDULING APPOINTMENTS

We have 3 ways for you to schedule appointments:

  1. “The good old-fashioned way” by calling Shakti at 570-283-4247.
  2. By downloading and using our Pocket Salon ap on your apple or android phone.
  3. By using our website (shaktisalons.com). Look for the “BOOK ONLINE” button.

 

Beginning July 15th  2021, a 50% credit card deposit will be required for each online appointment scheduling. Deposits have become necessary as guests are scheduling multiple appointments to “hold spots”, not cancel the unused appointments, and/or not show up at all. This has been very disruptive to our business as “No Show – No Notice” appointments prevent our staff from taking care of customers that are waiting for appointments.  

 

ARRIVAL TIME

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your appointment. While we will always do our best to accommodate late arrivals, we appreciate being notified as soon as possible if you are running behind. If you will be arriving more than 15 minutes past your appointment time, we will do our best to accommodate your service needs, in the remaining time available but accommodations cannot always be guaranteed.

CANCELLATIONS

We require a minimum of a 24-hour notice to cancel or reschedule appointments. (Our preference is 48 hours so we have time to accommodate other guests who are waiting for appointments.) Guests that cancel or reschedule without a 24-hour notice will be required to pay 50% of the service fee. We will not schedule future appointments until the 50% service fee has been paid.

NO SHOW – NO NOTICE

Not showing up for a scheduled appointment and doing so without notice, disrupts our business and prevents our staff from accommodating other customers. When someone does not show up, has given no notice or does not cancel with at least 24-hour notice, we lose the opportunity to take care of guests that are waiting for appointments. No Show – No Notice Appointments will be charged 100% of the service fee(s) for any missed appointments prior to rescheduling another appointment.

CHILDREN

We do our best to create a professional and relaxed atmosphere and kindly ask that children be supervised and well behaved. As a courtesy to other salon guests, children must be supervised at all times while in the salon.
